A sick primary school janitor who posed as the secret admirer of an 11-year-old girl has been seized and charged with child pornography.
Caretaker Ethan Colpetzer, 30 – of Claysburg, Pennsylvania State, USA – had left a series of gifts, sweets and notes at the girl’s desk pretending to be a pupil.
But when she left a note asking who he was he left one saying ‘Ethan’ and the girl took it to her teacher at the Claysburg-Kimmel School.
Horrified staff realised there were no boys called Ethan in the school and then one school worker remembered the caretaker asking about the girl.
Workers said they had seen Colpetzer taking covert photos of pupils and one said they had seen a photo on his phone of a child bent over a table.
When police arrested the janitor they found scores of sickening child porn images on his phone.
Colpetzer is now facing 74 second-degree counts of possession of child porn along with third-degree felony counts of child pornography, creating or copying obscene material and corruption of minors.
Investigators later found around 150 images of children performing sex acts on Colpetzer’s devices, which he admitted to downloading from websites.
They reportedly found a total of 74 photos of children performing various sex acts, 72 images of juveniles posing naked and three pictures of bestiality.
Police arrested Colpetzer on 7th March and booked him into Blair County Prison, where he is currently being held on a USD-100,000 (GBP-83,327) bail.
His preliminary court hearing is reportedly scheduled for 16th March.
