Chicken Survives 15 Days In Rubble Without Food Or Water After House Collapse

This is the moment Chinese villagers discover a chicken that was buried alive for 15 days in the rubble of a collapsed house.

The chicken, dubbed ‘Strong Chicken’, by Chinese netizens, was plucked from the rubble at the collapsed home in a village in Xuanhan County in the central Chinese province of Sichuan on 25th September.

According to the chicken’s owner, name not reported, the house suddenly collapsed during the night of 10th September for unspecified reasons.

Several family members were injured in the collapse and there was no time to deal with the damage and animals they kept due to the relatives requiring medical attention.

After returning to the house on 25th September, they found a chicken trapped under the rubble that had apparently been there the whole time.

The homeowner called the incident “a miracle” after the chicken survived 15 days without food or water and was able to move.

The owner said the ‘miracle chicken’ is now eating and drinking well and is currently in good health.

Netizens were also amazed by the chicken’s survival story and dubbed it ‘Strong Chicken’ on social networks where the video was widely shared.
