This is the moment three stray dogs wreck a kennel set up for poor homeless cats after failing to catch any of the felines that they had earlier pursued around the block.

The incident took place outside the Denizli Radio Television offices in the south-western Turkish province of Denizli and was filmed by a nearby CCTV camera.

In the footage, the cheeky canines are seen approaching the cat kennels and ripping the bedding out.

At one point, two dogs work together to pull one of the kennels into the middle of the pavement.

According to reports, the stray dogs happened across several cats on the street which ran towards to the kennels for safety.

When the dogs spotted their fancy outdoor home, they decided to pull it apart.

The cat kennels were reportedly erected outside the Denizli Radio Television offices by caring staff members who had provided blankets and pillows for the town’s stray cats during the winter period.

Employees also provided food for up to 10 cats every day, according to reports.

Staff member Mulayim Cengiz told local media that he realised the kennels had been damaged when he arrived to work.

He checked the CCTV footage and realised that the cats had been attacked, adding: “Luckily, there were all fine.”

Employee Pinar Cankaya added: “We were shocked to see the dogs attacking the kennels. They didn’t manage to harm any of the cats.”
