This is the moment a man walks up to a wild bear before turning his back on the animal and the bear takes the opportunity to charge at him sending him running for his life.

The startling scene was recorded in Kamchatka, a peninsula in the Russian Far East when an unnamed man spotted a wild bear on the side of the road.

In the video, the man can be seen walking towards the wild bear and the animal backs away, seemingly scared by the man.

The man, wearing a black vest and cargo trousers, continues waking towards the young bear.

The man then crouches down and lifts up what appears to be a stone before taking another step towards the backtracking bear.

He then turns and begins walking back towards the car and the bear snatches its opportunity to charge at the man. 

The man sprints for his life and manages to get around the other side of the vehicle as the bear can be seen standing on its hind legs before the car speeds away.

Netizen ‘Ananas’ commented: “That bear is a little warrior.”

While ‘Liudmila Kamchatka’ added: “A suicide bomber.”
