Pic Shows: The sect member kills the dog with a knife; This is the sickening moment an alleged member of a Satanic sect kills a dog in cold blood by plunging a large knife into the side of its neck. Police have arrested the man and his girlfriend, who filmed the sick incident, in the Serbian capital city of Belgrade. The horrific footage begins with the hooded man, named by cops as Marko Djurdjevic, 21, talking to a stray dog, which he calls 'Bleki', to win its trust. He then holds its head to the ground and produces a large knife which he uses to stab the poor animal in the side of its neck, holding it still until it stops moving. At one point he asks his girlfriend how long it has been since he stabbed it and she replies that it has been seven minutes. "It should take five minutes, why is it taking so long," he asks. She replies: "It needs more time, he's still alive." Cops arrested Djurdjevic, from the Obrenovac area of Belgrade, and his girlfriend Katarina Popovic, 24, from the Zemun area of the city, after the clip appeared on Twitter. Both are said to be members of the 'Kefo Zote' Satanic sect which is known for carrying out ritualistic animal sacrifices. The video was shared on social media by the animal welfare organisation, 'Levijatan', which condemned the shocking killing. Little is known about the 'Kefo Zote' sect. It had its own website until recently but it has been closed down. Sects expert Janja Todorovic told local media there were a number of sects in Serbia known for abusing and killing animals in their rituals. "No one has the right to do this, regardless of their religious beliefs. It's morbid, ugly and unacceptable! It's inhumane, both towards people and animals," she said. The case has also reached the attention of Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic who said: "It's an incredible and terrible kind of cruelty and horrible violence against animals.
