A cute orange cat spends so much time sitting watching the world go by from the window and is there so often it was even used as a reference for a delivery.

And his fame was reassured when the delivery driver was so impressed by the request to deliver the package at the house with the orange cat in the window that he took a photo and posted online where it was widely shared and commented on.

The cat lives at a property in Gaiman, in the province of Chubut, located in the Eastern Coast of Argentina, a touristic area known particularly for it’s unique tea houses.

The cat ended up making the news when its owner, Paloma Pugh, had to give directions to a delivery firm to receive a purchase online through the service Andreani.

The woman did not want to end up with the delivery going astray, which is why she wrote in the description: “There is usually an orange cat in the window”.

The delivery man arrived at the indicated address and, indeed, found the cat in the intended place.

Surprised by the accuracy of the reference and also the cute look of the animal, he decided to take a photo and upload it to social networks, along with the purchase receipt and the guide message.

It quickly went viral and the cat, named Raymond became famous, as reported in Argentinian newspaper Clarin.

The postman on his social media post said: “Despite the fact that Gaiman is a small town, I managed to find the house thanks to the woman’s reference since the numbers are not usually so exact.”

The image of the cat with orange spots and stripes impressed those who saw it on social networks and it attracted many reactions and comments.

Some users shared photos of their cats staring out the window as a follow up joke to this story.

Pugh, posted several pictures of her cat explaining his routines and how the animal is coping with fame.

In one post she said: “His name is Raymond, but friends call him Ray. He is Aquarius, fearful, he likes water, spying out the window, attacking when you are distracted, breaking everything that is at hand and cleaning himself wherever he wants.”

In another picture, showing pigeons outside, Pugh said: “He woke up and found paparazzi outside”.
