Indonesian netizens are snapping up these cute hijabs for cats being sold on an e-commerce site.

Screenshots of the cat hijabs were shared by Twitter account ‘txtdarionlshop’ which reports on the unusual world of shopping on the internet.

The images were taken from the popular e-commerce site Shopee after a seller listed Sharia-compliant outfits for felines.

One hijab called ‘Ukhti’, which boasts a ranking of 4.7 out of 5, is on sale for IDR 85,000 (GBP 4.5).

The seller also offers other feline hijabs with various designs, including comic book heroes.

According to the news site Coconuts Jakarta, the cat hijabs have proven extremely popular with Indonesian netizens.

In the images, one cute cat is seen wearing a pink hijab outfit with a grey pinny.

Another snap shows the same cat from a side-on angle.

Meanwhile, content netizens have been posting images of their own cats wearing the feline-themed hijabs.
