Iker Casilla’s WAG has worried fans after posting a picture on social media showing strange marks on her upper left arm as she recovers from a cancerous tumour.

Sara Carbonero, Casillas’ wife, has been active on social media after letting followers know about her ovarian cancer diagnosis in May of this year.

She spooked fans after posting a picture of herself in a bikini where there are marks on the skin on her left arm and many voiced their concerns for the Spanish journalist’s health.

Netizen ‘mamengalvancarranza’ wrote: “What is wrong with her arm? Did she get burnt? She is beautiful but I do not know if that thing on her skin is from the illness or it happened before, in any case she is phenomenal”.

And ‘paulahernandez5602019’ said: “Very beautiful. Does anyone know what happened to her skin? Beautiful in any case for sure!”

However, Carbonero explained the marks on her arm in a previous post from her blog. The model said that she fell off a slide when she was 3 years old and broke her arm in several places.

She went on to explain the lighter parts are where the fractures happened and the lack of pigmentation is more noticeable when she gets tan.

Carbonero, 35, was operated on in May after doctors discovered a malignant tumour in her ovaries. She underwent surgery at the Ruber International Clinic in the Spanish capital Madrid to remove it.

In a post on her social media page in late May, she said it was found in time and the operation was successful but she still had “months of fighting” while she gets the “appropriate treatment”.
