A beautiful blonde suspected of stealing more than EUR 1 million from a money trucking firm she worked at has been identified by police in Germany.

The 42-year-old woman disappeared along with the cash from the company in Stuttgart more than two months ago.

But police investigating the scam have been tied in knots by Germany’s strict privacy laws, it has emerged.

It took weeks of legal wrangling for them to be able to release CCTV pictures of her apparently carrying out the heist.

But they still cannot name the woman in case it breaches her rights to privacy.

One picture apparently shows the striking-looking platinum blonde in the strongroom of the cash company showing off a distinctive tattoo on her forearm.

Another shows her striding through what looks like a car park carrying what looks to be a heavy backpack.

The Stuttgart Police said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “The police are using real images to search for a 42-year-old woman who is suspected of having stolen over a million euros in October 2022, using her employment with a money transport company.”

“The suspect is a 174 cm tall woman, with blue-green eyes and blonde hair, and has multiple tattoos all over her body.”

A reward worth EUR 37,500 (GBP 32,600) has been put up for information leading to her arrest.

Even the name of the company she stole from and the identity of the person providing the reward money has been withheld.

When quizzed, police declined to give details of the theft other than to say the woman had used her employment relationship to carry out the alleged theft.

The fact the money had vanished was noticed the same day, but by then, the woman had disappeared and police have not ruled out that she might have fled abroad.
