This is the moment a car with a family inside goes tumbling over a waterfall and ends up upside down as onlookers try to rescue them after flooding.
The shocking incident occurred outside the town of Ramnagar in Nainital district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand as driver Anil reached a road which had become flooded by heavy rainfall.
In the video, Anil has stopped the car at the edge of the flooded road when the car is suddenly taken downstream by the powerful waters.

The driver runs after the vehicle and manages to reach it just as it tumbles down a steep drop.
The car is left upside down as powerful waters from the mini-waterfall thunder into it.
Onlookers can be seen helping to pull those inside the car to safety, including Anil’s daughter Dia, his wife Munni Davi, no ages given, and his relatives, named in reports as Rajesh, Aniram and Hema, no ages given.
Local media report all those rescued were taken to a nearby hospital where they received treatment before being discharged.
