This musclebound thug who chased a bus driver on an electric scooter and then gave him a beating was caught after he tried to escape and was hit by a car.

Footage shot on the dashboard camera of the bus and by passersby show the man in a green T-shirt chasing after the bus and then storming on board to attack the driver in Almaty, which is the largest city in Kazakhstan.

He throws several punches which left the driver with a bleeding lip and also knocked out several teeth, leaving him suffering from headaches and in need of hospital treatment.

The attacker then tries to leave the vehicle but the brave bus driver bleeding from having been punched in the head chased after him, and grabs onto the man’s scooter. But after an altercation the bus driver is clearly no match for the muscular scooter driver, who shoves the bus driver away and attempts to flee.

But as he pulls out into the road, he is hit by a car and sent flying several metres down the road, and briefly attempts to stand before collapsing back onto the road.

The man was taken to hospital and was then arrested by police, who confirmed he is being charged with hooliganism for the assault on the bus driver.

A spokesman for the bus company confirmed that the incident took place at the junction of Tole Bee Street and Seifullin Street saying: “Our driver was travelling along the lane reserved for public transport vehicles and speed of 37 kph, and he was not breaking any traffic. Suddenly a scooter rider – inside and started beating our driver. He then tried to escape. We do not know why he attacked the driver.”

The bus company meanwhile released the footage from their own vehicle after the scooter driver came his injuries were caused from being beaten up by the older overweight bus driver. The bus company spokesman added: “The footage speaks for itself.”
