This is the moment a speeding car rams into the side of a minibus sending the larger vehicle careering into an electricity pole.
The accident took place at an icy crossroads in the Siberian city of Biysk in south-central Russia’s Altai Krai region.
In the video recorded by a surveillance cameras shows a minibus and a black saloon car approaching a crossroads from adjacent roads.
Neither driver stops when they reach the crossing and the black car crashes into the side of the minibus.
The minibus is sent careering off the road and it crashes head-on into an electricity pole.
The passenger in the car can be seen getting out of the vehicle while the passengers in the bus can be seen moving inside the vehicle.
Local media report one of the passengers inside the minibus was injured. There is no information on the nature of the injuries but local media the passenger was discharged after being checked by doctors.
It is unclear if the driver of the car has been arrested or fined.
Netizen ‘Denis Saponov’ said: “Is he blind? Maybe he was high or drunk?!”
While ‘Chetko’ added: “Imagine if there was a pedestrian somewhere nearby? Even if the bus was driving slowly it would have been major.”
