Disgraced Kirsten Michelle Jenkins, 26, was seized by police in Washington County, Tennessee, on 22nd December.

She is charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated child neglect, and two counts of aggravated child endangerment.

Jenkins is believed to have committed the sick crimes while working as a 911 dispatcher.

She began working full-time at Washington County 911 in January 2022 and had previously worked there on a sporadic basis.

The alleged abuse is said to have taken place between 7th March and 12th May and between 22nd May and 5th August.

The victim’s identity and relationship with Jenkins are being withheld, but the child is said to be aged eight or younger.

Washington County 911 Director Greg Matherly told local media that Jenkins had resigned from her role before the indictment was made public.

She did not give a reason for quitting her job, he said.

He also revealed that he and his colleagues had only found out about Jenkins’ alleged crimes after the charges were made public.

The suspect is currently being held in Washington County Detention Center.

Her bail bond has been set at USD 100,000 (GBP 83,000) and she reportedly faces a court hearing on 3rd April.

Local media reported that she faces from 15 to 60 years in prison if found guilty.
