In the footage, the male pedestrian can be seen walking through the middle of the road where the cabbie is driving.

After reportedly being honked at by the cabbie, the passer-by casually kicks the side of the taxi in response, the clip shows.

The cabbie, however, reacts angrily and immediately stops his car on the road and jumps out the driver’s side door.

As the pedestrian walks away, the cabbie sprints towards him and launches the powerful kung fu kick to the small of the man’s back.

The pedestrian flies out of frame as the taxi driver lands his blow and ends up sprawled on the ground after the move.

According to reports, the cabbie had an elderly client inside his taxi at the time of the incident.

Local police are understood to have investigated the cases, but Shenzhen authorities did not say whether any arrests were made or whether the pair were able to resolve their differences.
