A young mother who was left disfigured by these horrific stitches following a C-section has dropped all charges against the hospital.

According to local media, the 23-year-old identified only by her first name Erika was taken to hospital in the city of Omsk in south-central Russian region of Omsk Oblast in an emergency situation during the 31st week of her pregnancy.

Doctors concluded that the young mum-to-be, who was carrying twins, need to undergo an emergency C-section.

According to local media, doctors saved the woman and her twin sons, named Tima and Dima, but left her body disfigured when stitching her back up.

The stitches also caused Erika a lot of pain, according to reports.

Hospital staff said that they prescribed painkillers for the mother’s wound, but Erika denies it.

According to local media, she initially filed a complaint against the hospital for the apparently bungled stitches, but has since decided to drop it for unknown reasons.

After news of Erika’s decision was leaked to local media, the public prosecutor’s office took an interest and are currently investigating the matter, according to reports.
