This is the moment a teenage butcher is fatally stabbed in the heart after telling his colleague to move away because he stinks.
The victim, Morad Nader, 19, an Afghan national, was working with his Afghan colleague, identified as Ferhat R., 19, in a butcher’s shop in the district of Kagithane in the north-western Turkish province of Istanbul.
The pair had been working together chopping up meat on a table with other colleagues when the altercation happened, when Morad told the other teenager: “You stink, work on the other side.”
A brawl broke out and it ended tragically when Morad was stabbed in the heart by Ferhat.
In the footage, the victim is seen checking his chest wound as concerned colleagues assist him and take away the knife in his hand.
Morad, who was seriously injured, was taken to hospital where doctors battled in vain to save his life, according to the news site Haberler.
Following the Afghan worker’s death, the police launched an investigation and Ferhat was taken into custody.
Ferhat, who confessed to stabbing his colleague, was charged with deliberate murder and remanded in custody. The suspected murder weapon was also seized by the cops.
The investigation into the incident continues.
