Busty Japanese model Kato Sari has divorced her new husband after reportedly blowing 700,000 GBP of his cash on cars and clothes in the weeks leading up to the wedding leaving him broke.

The 29-year-old model posted a video on YouTube where she announced that her divorce had been finalised.

The Japanese star met the unnamed property company boss in May 2019 and they were married in September.

However, they separated after just one week later, and the divorce was finalised last week after less than five months of marriage.

According to reports, the couple broke up because the model’s husband had run out of cash and couldn’t fund her lavish lifestyle any longer.

Local media said that Sari spent 100 million JPY (698,970 GBP) of her partner’s money in the three months leading up to the wedding on cars, designer bags and fancy clothes.

Meanwhile, he also spent 3 million JPY (20,975 GBP) on an engagement ring from Harry Winston, according to reports.

After their wedding, the husband asked the model to stop spending money as his company was experiencing financial difficulties.

According to local media, this made Sari angry as she was allowed to spend lavishly before their wedding, but not afterwards.

Likening her marriage to a scam, the model said: “What was the point of marrying him? He just cheated me to sign the papers.”

Before getting married, she raised eyebrows when she said “happiness can be bought with money” and “I will get married for money”.

Stating that she is not interested in poor men, she separated from her new husband and started the divorce proceedings, according to reports.

Sari also said that women have to endure pregnancy and childbirth while men do not do anything except work hard to earn money.
