This is the moment a businessman’s son is forced out of his car right outside his home by an armed gang who bundle him into their vehicle and drive away.

The incident was filmed by CCTV cameras at around 8pm in Nuevo San Isidro in the city of Torreon located in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila when the 24-year-old victim, identified as Juan Carlos Rios, was getting into his pickup truck.

According to local media, Rios, who is the son of the owner of Roksport Fitness Club in the city, was surrounded by masked men with guns and forced out of his vehicle.

In the multi-angle footage, a black car is seen stopping behind the parked pickup truck and several men with firearms jump out.

The victim, wearing a white shirt, is seen being forced out his vehicle before being bundled into the black car.

The black vehicle drives off as alleged gang members steal Rios’ pickup truck.

Reports said the victim was dumped in a quiet area shortly after the incident and the police, who initially determined the incident as a kidnapping, now believe it was to steal the man’s pickup truck.

The local police said that the area has seen a spike in the theft of new and luxury vehicles in the last month.

The investigation is ongoing.

According to the local authorities, a study this year showed that 68.3 percent of the population in Coahuila feels insecure when out and about in town, particularly when visiting the ATM.
