This is the moment a ticket inspector pins a woman to the ground because she did not have a ticket as she screams that she “cannot breath”.

The incident was filmed at a bus station in the city of Kragujevac in the district of Sumadija in the central Serbian region of Sumadija and Western Serbia after a confrontation between the unnamed female passenger, 31, and the 65-year-old inspector, identified only as M.T.

Reports said that the ticket inspector stopped the woman because she did not have a platform ticket.

During the ensuing row, the 31-year-old passenger reportedly slapped the inspector twice and threw water over him.

Meanwhile, the 65-year-old inspector is accused of eventually losing his temper and twisting the woman’s arm and kicking her, according to reports.

In the video filmed by an onlooker, the woman is heard screaming that she “cannot breath” as the inspector pins her on the ground.

One eyewitness said: “When I arrived [at the bus station], the woman was shouting that the worker had hit her, and then apparently fainted.

“Everyone else was yelling that it was outrageous he did that.”

The bus company has defended the inspector, saying that his actions were in accordance with their written procedures and private security legislation, according to local media.

The company also said that the inspector had warned the person multiple times before finally detaining her and calling the police.

However, the police arrested him and M.T. has reportedly been placed in custody for 30 days as the investigation continues.

It is unclear whether the woman suffered any injuries or has been arrested as well.

Netizen ‘Radulovic38’ commented: “I support the worker and hope that she is punished instead.”

‘IndiraHasic’ said: “If she slapped the inspector, I imagine she is always hitting her husband at home.”

‘Goxy’ wrote: “I don’t really get it, why didn’t he just let her onto the platform with a ticket?”
