This viral video with over a million views shows a bus driver walking into traffic at the lights and giving orange peels back to a driver who has thrown them out his window.
Zhang Heng, driver of the B6 bus in the city of Zhengzhou, capital of Central China’s Henan Province, said he tried reminding the driver using his PA system when he spotted the fruit peels being dropped out the SUV’s driver’s side window.
But in the end Zhang had to take matters into his own hands when his repeated announcements were ignored.

Dashcam footage from his bus shows him walking up to the open window and picking up the driver’s fruit peels, stuffing them back through the window.
“I picked up the orange peels and returned them to the driver,” Zhang said, adding: “I reminded him to stop littering while driving.”
He continued: “He was clearly unhappy, but I pointed at the ground and said: ‘You really want street cleaners to walk into the middle of the fast lane to clean up [your mess]?’”
Zhang said the driver was “a little embarrassed” and quickly “apologised”.
“When I see such uncivilised behaviour, which ruins our city’s image, it’s shameful and adds to the burden of our sanitation workers,” he said.
