The gang start trying to smash the front window of a jewellery shop with what appears to be a sledgehammer but then resort to breaking the glass with the car.

After the glass smashes some of the gang run into the shop before they can be seen driving out of the shopping centre with one of them carrying a bag of loot.

According to local media, the robbery was reported to the local authorities by a phone call at four in the morning and the gang was formed of six men who robbed several shops in around 15 minutes.

Reports said no people were injured during the robbery but important material damage was done to the establishment and the gang stole jewellery along with several mobile phones.

The Catalonian local police Mossos D’Esquadra have launched an investigation to find the gang. No arrests have been reported. It is currently unclear how much the loot was worth.
