This is the moment a bungling woman learning how to drive smashes straight through a wall and into an office burying two staff at their desks under a pile of rubble.

Authorities investigating the freak accident in Dongguan City in China’s southern Guangdong Province have ruled out drink-driving, saying the unnamed woman driver “mishandled” the vehicle.

Footage dated 14th July shows the woman’s SUV, which belongs to a family member, jerking forwards inside the car park and doing a large circle as she loses control of it.

She does not slow down, with the car crashing through a glass door before CCTV video shows it punching through the wood and plasterboard wall into the office.

As two male employees sit at their desks, the vehicle smashes through their cubicles and buries both men under piles of rubble.

The pair can be seen climbing out from under broken tables, chairs and cubicle dividers while the SUV remains parked in the middle of the room.

In an image taken in the aftermath of the crash, in which the broken glass door can be seen, Chinese characters on the office wall read: “Attitude determines everything; success is in the details.”

According to reports, the woman does not have a driving licence and is still in the middle of her driving tests.

She was practising reverse parking in the empty car park when she is said to have mistaken her accelerator for her brake in a moment of panic, causing her to career into the office.

The authorities said one of the staff members suffered broken bones, while the other sustained minor injuries.

Investigations are still ongoing.
