This is the moment a shirtless biker trying to show off accidentally crashes into a McLaren supercar worth over 300,000 GBP as he falls off the two-wheeler.
The unnamed biker from the city of Jinhua, which is in East China’s Zhejiang Province, did some serious paint and body damage to the British sports car on 16th August.
CCTV footage from a local garage shows the bright orange car, which appears to be a 2016 McLaren 570S, parked outside.
The biker without a helmet swerves into view and rides in an S pattern before losing control near the McLaren and crashing into the side of the supercar worth 2.7 million RMB (315,540 GBP) after tax in China.
The bike twists one of the supercar’s wing mirrors out of place and leaves a noticeable dent and scratch on the left side of the McLaren, which reports have estimated will cost over 500,000 RMB (58,375 GBP) to repair.
The biker was not seriously injured, but Jinhua traffic police have ruled he will be held fully liable for the accident – meaning he will foot the repair bill unless the owner offers a generous waiver.
Reports did not reveal who the McLaren’s owner is, or whether the vehicle had been fully insured.
