Bungling ATM Burglars Destroy Small Car Trying To Ram Cash Machine In Absurdly Unsuccessful Robbery Attempt

This is the moment bungling burglars destroy a small car as they attempt to ram it into a cash machine in Paris in an absurdly unsuccessful robbery.

The incident took place in the 20th arrondissement of the French capital Paris and it was filmed by a witness who can be heard saying in the footage “you didn’t take the right car, mate!”

French police officers belonging to the BRB (Brigade de Repression du Banditisme) are reportedly still hunting for the suspects, according to French newspaper Le Parisien.

The incident shows at least two suspects wearing motorcycle helmets attempting to storm an ATM in Paris last Friday morning at around 11:10.

Using a rather small Peugeot 104 car, one of the suspects drives it repeatedly into the ATM. But it does not cause so much as a dent in their intended target, instead seriously damaging the front of the car, which appears to stop working as the video ends.

Witnesses can be heard mocking the would-be bank robbers. A first crook can be seen kicking a door next to the ATM, which does not even budge. Then the second one can be seen getting out of the damaged car and half-heartedly doing the same befor fleeing the scene.

A police source told Le Parisien that “no money!” was taken in the failed heist.

Police were reportedly on the scene shortly after the crooks left. They studied the scene and especially the damaged Peugeot 104, which the crooks had no choice but to leave at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
