A teen bully has been seized by police in Saudi Arabia after a video emerged of her battering a classmate.

Police took action when the video reached 2.3 million views on Twitter and the hashtag ‘Girl Bullies Her Friend’ started trending on social media.

In the footage, the teen is seen slapping and violently pulling the hair of her classmate while sitting on steps with a group of pals.

She aims a kick at her victim’s back and is then seen mocking them.

The victim looks shocks but leaves the steps without fighting back.

The viral video sparked outrage on social media, prompting the Riyadh police to step in and track down the aggressor.

A Riyadh Police spokesperson later confirmed that they had identified the girl and had started legal proceedings against her.

Meanwhile, the police also shared a video that appears to show the same girl with her pals as they beat a woman on the ground.

In the footage, two teens appear to be slapping and stomping the Saudi woman before two others come to the victim’s rescue.

The group appears to have the same physical features and the same clothes as seen in the viral video.

Many netizens have called on the authorities to punish those responsible while suggesting that their victims should receive counselling, adding that the problem of bullying is something society desperately needs to tackle.
