These horrific videos show the torture of two young men in India after they were accused of theft by staff at a petrol station.

The pair were reportedly brothers who are members of the Dalit community that were grabbed and stripped after they were accused of theft and can be seen being tortured by a gang of men around them, some of them grinning as they do so.

The videos were apparently shot at one location in the Panchaudi petrol station in Rajasthan’s Nagaur and include images where petrol is applied to the private parts and one has what appears to be a fuel nozzle inserted in his backside.

The Dalit class which was also known as the untouchables are an ethnic group in India that make up around 16 per cent of the countries population where they are shunned as outcasts and relegated mostly to poverty and lowly professions if they can obtain work at all.

Local police spokesman Rajpal Singh from Panchodi police station said: “Two persons were caught stealing money on Sunday after which they were brutally thrashed by the showroom employees. A video was shot which went viral after which the victims lodged an FIR on Wednesday.”

A First Information Report (F.I.R.) is a document prepared by police organizations in countries including Myanmar, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan etc. when they receive information about the commission of a cognisable offence.

He said the showroom staffers have also lodged a case against the two Dalits for stealing money.

Eleven men have been arrested so far with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeting: “In the horrific incident in Nagaur, immediate and effective action has been taken and seven accused have been arrested so far. Nobody will be spared. The culprits will be punished according to the law and we will ensure that the victims get justice.”
