Brothers Found Dead Inside Plastic Bags In Rented Airbnb House

Two brothers have been found dead with at least 70 stabs wounds inside plastic bags in a rented Airbnb house.

The victims, identified as Levy Gamaliel Rincon Franco, 22, and Eliud Caleb Rincon Franco, 28, were found dead and wrapped in plastic bags in a house located in the neighbourhood of Xochimilco, in the city of Mexico City, the Mexican capital.

They were reported as missing on Friday when they left their house to reach an agreement for a new job. Police believe they had an appointment in the park Dos Naciones, in the municipality of Coyoacan.

According to local newspaper Excelsior, the sister of the victims said that Eliud was studying Electrical System Engineering in the university where he met the person who offered him and his brother work.

Police confirmed that Eliud received a text on the 3rd December offering him the job where he was due to start the next day. They were then reported missing the day after that, and on the same day the owner of an Airbnb property that had rented it to a woman named Arisha discovered the two bodies in plastic bags when she went to clean up.

Levy Gamaliel had 78 stabbing injuries in the head, thorax and back, while his brother Eliud Caleb had 72 injuries in skull, thorax and backs.

The owner of the house said that a couple rented the house, but the person who made the agreement was the woman identified as Arisha.

The investigation is ongoing, and so far no arrests have been made.
