A Brazilian website has launched an online raffle offering a Mercedes-Benz C 200 and a day with a porn star as the top prize.
The news portal UOL Carros reported that the website Voce de Barca is raffling off a new Mercedes and a day with porn star Elisa Sanches, adding that the website does not appear on the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ) and does not include any entities that will benefit from the proceedings.
The website offers raffle numbers for BRL 30 (GBP 4). Participants can select as many numbers as they like from 0 to 9999, with a total of 10,000 on offer and a maximum of BRL 300,000 (GBP 39,500) that can be garnered if all numbers are sold.
The winner will allegedly scoop a new Mercedes-Benz C 200, believed to be a 2015 to 2017 model, and a day with Elisa Sanches, who is reportedly a veteran of the porn industry in Brazil.
According to UOL Carros, the website is not listed as a legal entity on the national registry and no organisations or entities will apparently benefit from the proceeds.
The report added that betting on numbers is banned by the Secretariat for Public Policy Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery (SECAP) if the company is not licensed.
UOL Carros also reported that the Terms and Conditions section of the website leads to another portal called Voce na Nave, which has the same transparency issues.
Sanches and the websites’ owners were both unavailable for comment.
