Brazilian Singer Robbed By Armed Biker While Strolling Along Beach With Family

This is the moment gorgeous Brazilian singer Walkyria Santos and her family members have her mobile phones taken off them by an armed robber.

The incident took place on the road along Intermares Beach in the municipality of Cabedelo in the north-eastern Brazilian state of Paraiba on Sunday, 6th March.

Walkyria explained that she and her niece and sister were approached by an armed man on a motorbike as they walked down the road, as seen in this CCTV footage.

Walkyria Santos posted a video denouncing the hatred people receive on social media, after her son Lucas Santos, 16, allegedly committed suicide, on 3rd August, in Natal, Brazil. (@walkyriasantosoficial/Newsflash)

She said on Instagram, where she boasts 1.8 million followers: “Guys, we were robbed. We were really happy, but that’s Brazil. I’m angry because I didn’t want to hand over my mobile phone, but my niece was very nervous, my sister too. He was armed and threatened to shoot. It was a horrible feeling.”

The police have said that the women did the right thing in handing over their phones and not trying to resist the robbery, as they could have been injured or even killed.

Walkyria, 44, said: “I don’t know who was shaking more, if it was her [the niece] or if it was the assailant. Because he was shaking so much with the gun in his hand.”
