Brazilian football legend Neymar’s 54-year-old mum has been slammed as vain after getting a bum lift.

The bum lift is just the latest in a long line of cosmetic procedures undergone by Nadine Goncalves, who is the mother of Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar, 29, but is slowly becoming a celebrity in her own right following a number of eyebrow-raising stories about her in the media.

Goncalves underwent the procedure at a clinic in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo and even posed for a ‘cheeky’ snap lying on the operating table in a skimpy pair of knickers, which was later posted online by the clinic.

Goncalves has previously undergone facial harmonisation and a procedure to tighten her loose skin, leading writer Fabia Oliveira to describe her as “vain” in O Dia, which reported on the bum lift yesterday (22nd September).

According to local media, it is possible that Goncalves got the bum lift for free or at a reduced price in exchange for letting the clinic post her photo, despite her son being one of the highest-paid athletes in the world, earning around GBP 44 million per year, according to news site R7.

In the procedure, Goncalves, who boasts 1.5 million followers on Instagram, had her bum injected with biostimulants and hyaluronic acid to give it a plumper, rounder appearance.

Goncalves hit headlines worldwide when she announced last year that she was dating 24-year-old gamer and model Tiago Ramos, whom she swiftly dumped after learning of his prior relationships with men, allegedly including Neymar’s personal chef.

The two later reconciled and there are conflicting reports as to whether they are still together.
