This is the viral moment gorgeous Brazilian model and influencer Aline Riscado starts her period in the middle of a live-streamed yoga session while wearing white leggings.
Riscado, 33, from the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, was live-streaming the yoga class on Instagram for her 12.1 million followers on 18th August when she started to menstruate.
The video has since gone viral with 1.8 million views and nearly 6,000 comments.
She did not interrupt the yoga session, choosing to comment on the situation at the end to explain that it is perfectly normal for women to bleed and that it symbolises “life”.
She wrote on Instagram: “Today I had the honour and pleasure of receiving marianyoga.br for a beautiful YOGA practice! I would say the most SPECIAL yoga livestream I’ve ever done here!
“I write with emotion and with my heart vibrating gratitude for having been a divine channel to normalise something divine and that only happens to us WOMEN, goddesses, witches, and everything else we want to be… MENSTRUATION!
“During the class, I got dirty… yes, the most normal thing in LIFE that can happen to all of us! I didn’t change and, from now on, I will never change again when this happens!
“You guys don’t have an idea how free I’m feeling right now. My God, infinite gratitude for that!”
The influencer added: “Women, beloved girls… menstruation is not shameful, it is not disgusting…. It is the divine within us! Menstruation is life and we should be very proud to bleed every month!
“I am PROUD to be a WOMAN! And I LOVE TO BLEED!”
