This is the moment two kindhearted surfers rescue a dog in the sea that is being slammed against the rocks by the choppy waves.
The incident was filmed off Algorta Beach in the northern Spanish region of the Basque Country and was posted on Twitter by netizen ‘Ibon Perez’ where it has been viewed over 108,000 times.
According to reports, rescuers Ivan and Jose were surfing in the area when they saw a dog being swept into the sea and they rushed to help the stranded animal that was struggling to stay afloat in the choppy waters.
The bad weather conditions made the rescue more difficult, as seen in the footage.
The video shows the poor pooch appearing to be slammed against the rocks by the merciless waves.
One of the surfers swam to help the animal as his pal ventured along the rocks to their position in the sea.
In the next scene, the kindhearted surfers take the dog back to shore on one of their surfboards.
Netizen ‘Mavegan’ said: “Great job Ivan and Jose, you both have a big heart.”
