This youngster shocked his mum and teachers by taking advantage of the rainy season to go for a swim in a huge puddle while wearing his school uniform.

The young boy’s mother, Rozita Abdul Razak, who was at the school at the time, said she had no idea what her son was up to until a teacher told her.

Ms Razak said: “A teacher told me… ‘It’s your son playing with water!’. I thought maybe he was just playing with a bit of water. But it turned out that he was swimming!”

And the lad, whose name is not reported, had not even bothered taking off his school uniform before launching himself into the huge puddle.

His mum photographed him splashing around in the puddle, outside his school at an undisclosed location in Malaysia, and shared the pictures on Facebook.

And the photos have been making a big impression on social media users, most of whom were won over by the young boy’s sense of adventure and cheeky grin.

Netizen ‘Shaiful Ikan Bakaq’ commented: “Believe me.. someday this kid will succeed.. Little brother let the others laugh… just be yourself.”

‘Zauyah Mat’ said: “This is great. When I was a kid I didn’t miss the chance when I found water like this. Now I’m old I still feel like taking a swim now and again.”

‘Murniwati Anwar’ noted: “Oh my child… Make a face like that I can’t even get angry”, ‘Aisy Hana’ agreed: “His face is so innocent”, and ‘Hassan Haron’ predicted: “Future national swimmer.”

Malaysia’s west coast, lowlands and highlands experience heavy rains during the wet season which usually run from April to October.
