This is the moment a young boy leaves his desk to help a biker who fell off his scooter and escapes being hit by a falling heavy object that crashes onto his homework desk.

The incident was filmed in the city of Yangxin in the Chinese province of Hubei on 4th December.

In the footage, the boy is seen doing his homework on an outside desk as a biker appears and apparently falls off his scooter.

The boy immediately gets up and runs to help the man on the street. While he is away, a heavy bag of what appears like cement suddenly falls from the sky and crashes on the lad’s desk.

The desk is knocked off the raised step and collapses on the ground next to the heavy object.

The boy then appears and scratches his head as he sees the collapsed desk and bag lying next to it.

He looks up to see where it may have come from and then walks over to pick up his homework.

Afterwards, the child’s father Mr Le saw the footage of the incident and said: “Fortunately, he went away and was missed by the falling object.”

It is unclear if the family found out where the heavy object came from.
