Boozed Up Man Stabs Brave Rottweiler Protecting Owner

This is the shocking moment a reportedly drunk man knocks a neighbour to the ground and stabs his Rottweiler with a knife after taking a dislike to the animal.

In the first video, the suspect is seen marching over to the neighbour and his dog while brandishing a knife in the Russian capital Moscow.

He then knocks over the neighbour and the Rottweiler appears to defend its owner by jumping up at the knifeman who then thrusts the knife into its side.

The poor dog yelps as onlookers intervene.

A second clip shows the scenes leading up to the stabbing incident where the neighbour’s girlfriend tries to prevent the suspect from attacking the dog.

According to the dog’s owners, the suspect has acted aggressively towards the Rottweiler in the past and on this occasion he was complaining that it was on the street without a muzzle.

Meanwhile, the unnamed knifeman, who has since been arrested, claimed that he was protecting himself from the dog.

Reports said that the dog lost a lot of blood but survived the incident and is current receiving veterinary treatment after an emergency operation.

The Rottweiler owner named Dmitry Safronov told local media: “The man has been aggressive towards the dog for a while, I don’t know why. He sits here all the time with friends, drinking alcohol.”

And the man’s girlfriend, identified only be her first name Chara, added that the dog had passed its training course and was very obedient.

The police investigation is ongoing.
