Body Of Pretty Woman, 21, Who Drowned After Falling From Speedboat Is Found

The dead body of this pretty young woman with everything to live for has been pulled from a reservoir after she fell out of a speedboat.

Taynara Goncalves, aged 21, who was seen smiling and laughing in images posted on social media before her death, disappeared at the Represa de Miranda reservoir in the Brazilian city of Uberlandia on Saturday, 12th June.

Divers from a fire service dive team found her dead body in the early afternoon of Tuesday 15th June.

Despite the divers plumbing the reservoir at depths of 10 metres (32.8 ft), her dead body was finally found bobbing on the water’s surface near the team’s lifebuoy.

The police are investigating what happened to the young woman, who had gone on a boat trip on the reservoir, which is nearly 65 metres (213 ft) deep in parts.

Before her body was found, a relative took to social media to write: “As many of you already know from the news, Taynara ‘fell’, and possibly drowned, from a speedboat that she was on with other people.

“In the police reports gathered, the information differs. As such, it is not possible to arrive at any conclusion as to what really happened.”

The relative added: “We want news, we want the truth.”

According to the fire brigade, the reason it took four days to find Taynara’s body was due to the conflicting testimonies from those present at the time of her fall.

As such, officials were unable to determine exactly where or, indeed, why she fell. Their preliminary hypothesis is that she tripped, though they have not ruled out other lines of investigation.

The victim’s family has demanded “answers” and the police are investigating the case.
