This is the moment at least five people lie dead on the ground after gunmen reportedly opened fire randomly in a Mexican bullring car park.
According to eyewitnesses outside the La Macarena Bullring in the city of Uruapan in the western Mexican state of Michoacan, the assailants “arbitrarily shot at people” with assault rifles.
Local media said that an armed gang arrived at the car park and opened fire on passersby, indiscriminately killing at least five people.
In the footage, dead bodies are seen strewn around the cars in the bullring car park.

Meanwhile, witnesses check on the motionless victims as police sirens are heard blaring in the background.
The motive behind the alleged shooting is still unclear.
The Secretary of Public Safety (SSP) issued a statement on social media saying: “Personnel from the (Michoacan Police) are carrying out an investigation in Uruapan in coordination with the (National Guard) following the events that took place in a car park in the El Colorin neighbourhood with the aim of finding those responsible.”
The exact number of victims and their identities has not yet been disclosed.
There have been no reports of any arrests as the police investigation continues.
