Bloodbath Moment Pit Bull Attacks Girl, 4, On Basketball Court In Turkey As Adults Scream And Try To Pull It Off Her

This is the graphic moment a pit bull dog brutally attacks a four-year-old girl on a basketball court in Turkey while adults can be heard screaming as others attempt to pull the animal off her.

Two pit bulls belonging to five people living in a building complex in the district of Sahinbey in the Turkish province of Gaziantep injured the young girl, with the footage showing one of the dogs attacking her while another dog is confronted by an adult.

The young girl is the daughter of the janitor and she is now in a life-threatening condition, with serious injuries to her head and throat as a result of the incident that took place on Wednesday 22nd December, according to a press statement from the Gaziantep Governor’s Office.

The incident was caught on video by a witness who is reportedly a resident of one of the buildings.

It shows four people trying to save the girl from the dog, and one trying to grab the second dog that had attacked the girl.

The video also shows a man running from the scene after someone, presumably the person who filmed the video, can be heard shouting: “Call an ambulance, someone should call an ambulance.”

Another man can then be seen grabbing the limp girl by an arm and finally pulling her away from the dog.

The girl was taken to hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment for injuries.

The Governor’s Office stated that the two dogs involved in the incident were handed over to the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Animal Rehabilitation Centre by the Nature Conservation and National Parks Branch Directorate.

Six people, including the security guard of the building complex and the owners of the dogs, all unnamed, were taken into custody.

The Governor’s Office said: “The judicial and administrative process continues, and our office will follow up the treatment and wellbeing of the injured child.”

It is currently unclear if the dogs have been put down.
