This gorgeous Argentine model and actress has stressed the importance of regularly undergoing skin checks after revealing she has growths removed all the time.

The beautiful model made the announcement in an Instagram Story for her army of 447,000 followers.

Laura Laprida, 30, revealed she has always been very fair-skinned but never protected herself from the sun when she was younger which caused basal cell carcinomas (BCC) to appear.

BCCs, the most common form of skin cancer, are lesions in the skin that can appear similar to a growth or a sore that does not heal.

The 30-year-old said: “They are small tumours that appear on the skin. I have been removing them for years now, they appear on my face – I don’t know why – and they [doctors] have also removed birthmarks.”

She went on to say she had recently removed another from her forehead that was discovered when she went to have a scar reduced from an earlier operation.

Laprida said the first one she had was spotted by her sister who had a similar issue and stressed the importance of getting it checked by professionals.

The gorgeous model says that she carries out a yearly check-up where doctors take a picture of all her moles and remove any that change over time.

Laprida also reminded fans of the importance of wearing skin protection when in the sun, and even for people who spend a lot of time in front of screens which can emit rays.

The actress recently revealed she plans to move to Spain where she hopes to expand her acting career to Europe in 2021.
