A British fugitive knifeman has been seized by police in Turkey after a year on the run.
Suspect Joshua Toussaint, 27, fled after being released from jail, where he had served six months for carrying a knife in public.
Instead of complying with supervision orders, Toussaint, from Brighton, disappeared and a warrant was issued for his arrest in July last year.
He surfaced in Muratli, Tekirdag province, Turkey, where he was arrested for an alleged immigration offence.
Local media reported his arrest on 5th June.
It is unclear if Toussaint was released by the Turkish authorities following his latest detention or if they contacted their British counterparts.
