Vet Jumps Into Freezing Water To Help Cow Give Birth

This is the moment a hero vet jumps into a canal to help a pregnant cow give birth.

The incident took place in a canal in the partido of General Viamonte, in the eastern Argentina province of Buenos Aires and was shared by Damian Rodriguez on Twitter.

The animal had been grazing with other cows alongside the banks of the canal when it apparently fell in the water, and was unable to get out.

The video shows Damian’s brother, a vet named Diego Rodriguez, wearing only his underwear and gloves and jumping into the canal in order to help the poor cow.

In the clip, he is seen using a rope tied to the legs of the calf in order to pull it out from the cow while both are still in the middle of the canal.

Before that he had been forced to catch and then tie the pregnant cow to the bank of the canal in order to keep it still before he attempted to help with the birth of the calf.

Sadly, according to Damian, the calf was stillborn, but the cow was rescued and was helped out of the canal after falling in during what is the Argentine winter season.

The video was seen more than 40,200 times on Twitter and many netizens thanked the vet for his efforts helping the cow.
