This is the moment a hero vet jumps into a canal to help a pregnant cow give birth.

The animal had been grazing with other cows alongside the banks of the canal when it apparently fell in the water, and was unable to get out.

In the clip, he is seen using a rope tied to the legs of the calf in order to pull it out from the cow while both are still in the middle of the canal.
