This dashcam footage shows a biker trying to show off with a wheelie who then fails miserably by crashing into the back of a car.

The clip was captured on Zhongzheng Road in Shilin District in Taiwan’s capital of Taipei.

The dashcam footage shows the biker waiting at the lights when they turn green and he sets off.

The unidentified rider wearing a peculiarly aerodynamic helmet with fins races into the largely empty road and immediately pops a wheelie on his bike.

He continues forward on his rear wheel but appears to lose his bearings after about 300 feet.

As he prepares to end his stunt, he puts the front wheel down and slams right into the back of the slow-moving silver hatchback, falling embarrassingly onto the road shortly after.

The dashcam driver then slowly approaches the downed rider and lets out a loud laugh.

Social media users have liked the video thousands of times and have taken particular notice of the driver’s oddly satisfying laugh.

‘Damon Li’ wrote: “That laugh is infectious!”

‘Hou Han-han’ said: “Therapeutic.”

It was unclear at the time of writing whether Taipei City police had been involved in the aftermath of the crash.
