These photos show a man whose head was cut clean off and left over 30 feet from his body when he lost control of his motorbike and was dragged 100 feet along a crash barrier.

The shocking images were taken after the victim, named in reports as 30-year-old Samsuri Adam, crashed on the Kajang SILK Highway in the town of Kajang in south-western Malaysia’s Selangor State.

Azman Shari’at, the local Traffic Enforcement superintendent, said that the victim is believed to have lost control of his bike and hit the crash barrier.

The official added that they believe Adam had been thrown from the vehicle and dragged around 100 feet along the barrier. He confirmed the victim’s head was found around 10 metres (32 feet) from the body, although it is currently unclear exactly how it became separated from his body.

In the images, the decapitated body can be seen on the tarmac with a trail of blood pouring from its neck.

The victim’s head can be seen on its own on the tarmac and it appears to have been cut clean off in the accident.

Spokesman Shari’at said the motorbike, a Yamaha 125Z, had been brought in for inspection and investigation into the incident has been launched.

The victim’s body has been taken to the Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem examination and the authorities are reportedly still working to find his next-of-kin.
