Biker Thieves Snatch Mans Phone As He Plays Game

This is the moment a pedestrian distracted by a game on his phone does not notice a pair of biker thieves mount the curb until they snatch the device out of his hands before riding away.

The startling incident occurred in the Seyhan district of Adana province, Turkey and was recorded by CCTV cameras in the area.

In the video, 24-year-old Vedat Alpsoy can be seen playing a game on his mobile phone on the pavement when to men on a motorbike begin riding towards him.

Alpsoy does not notice the motorbike on the pavement and the passenger manages to snatch his phone out of his hands as the driver rides off.

The victim appears stunned and begins slowly walking after the thieves as they ride away.

The police were called and local media report footage from over 200 CCTV cameras was studied to try and identify the thieves.

One of the suspects has been named as Gokhan K., 32. and he was reportedly arrested in the same district after a brief police chase on foot.

He is said to have denied the accusations and said he ran away from the police because he was scared.

He is currently awaiting trial and the other suspect has not been identified.
