This is the moment a suspected drug trafficker lands on the cushioned seat of a motorbike after jumping from the second floor of a building while fleeing from the police.

The incident took place during a police operation against drug trafficking in the administrative district of Taguatinga in Brazil’s Federal District on 8th May.

CCTV footage shows how the falling man remarkably lands on the seat of a motorbike in the standard riding position.

Despite the descent appearing excruciatingly painful given the male anatomy, the man is then seen running off without any apparent injuries and fleeing underneath the car park’s barrier.

He managed to escape from the police and, at the time of reporting, was considered a fugitive from justice. He has not been named but is said to be 26-years-old.

The escape took place during a police operation dubbed ‘Ultima Ceia’ (‘Last Supper’) in which three people were arrested for possession of ammunition, drug trafficking and criminal association.

The fugitive has also been charged with these crimes, and the police seized 177 rifle bullets from his house.

According to the police, the suspects were found with skunk, ecstasy, crack cocaine, cocaine, anabolic steroids and ammunition, and officers also seized precision balances, money and two cars.

The police hope the arrests will strike a blow against the illicit substance trade in Brazil’s Federal District.

It is not clear if the missing suspect has since been apprehended.
