Bible History Teacher In Tennessee Charged With Rape

A Bible history teacher in Tennessee has been arrested for throwing a woman on her bed and telling her “you’re gonna take this” before raping her.

KaDarius Desean Scott, 23, was arrested by the police on 10th September following the alleged rape in the town of Ooltewah in the US state of Tennessee on 6th September.

The suspect has been charged with rape and aggravated kidnapping, and has also been suspended from his teaching job.

According to the affidavit, the victim invited Scott, a Bible history teacher at Tyner Academy in the city of Chattanooga, to her home in Ooltewah to discuss work over dinner.

The woman, name not disclosed, said she went to use her en-suite bathroom and when she came out, the suspect was in her bedroom waiting for her.

She said he refused to leave her bedroom and then closed the door to stop her from leaving.

The victim claimed Scott grabbed her hair and started kissing her face and neck, despite pleading with him to stop.

Frustrated that the victim was not returning his advances, the Bible teacher allegedly threw the woman on her bed and ripped off her clothes before raping her.

He told her “you’re gonna enjoy it” and “you’re gonna take this” during the sex attack, according to the victim.

The affidavit said the suspect left the house shortly afterwards and that he wrote in a text message to the victim: “Bae… I am sorry… I just get a head [sic] of my self [sic]… just want to make love to you and hold you… just want to be there.”

According to the police, Scott called the victim on 8th September while she was with two officers who were recording the chat.

During the conversation, he allegedly admitted “I went too far” and replied “I don’t know, I am sorry” when she asked him why he forced himself on her when she had clearly said ‘no’.

In the affidavit, he is also quoted as saying: “I’m about to lose everything. I’m going to lose my teaching license.”

Hamilton County Schools said in a statement that Scott has been suspended from his position.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) said: “On September 6, 2021, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office investigated a criminal allegation filed against Kadarius Scott (Age 23)

“The alleged criminal act occurred at a residence in Ooltewah, Tennessee. The alleged incident was not reported to have occurred on school property.
