A spurned boyfriend has handed his ex a bill for 5,500 GBP which he says she accumulated through him taking out the rubbish and her giving him “sleepless nights”.

The bizarre incident occurred after Roman Gusev split up with his ex-girlfriend Natalya Osipova in the city of Ekaterinburg in Sverdlovsk Oblast in western Russia.

The pair reportedly met two years ago when Ospivoa started going to a gym where Gusev was working as a fitness trainer.

Osipova says Gusev impressed her with his looks and style of coaching and they quickly became close.

They started a relationship but Osipova says things began changing when they moved in together.

She says her boyfriend stopped working and began drinking more and more alcohol, telling local media: “He stopped working, I was the only one who worked and he lived for my money.”

When the pair split up, Gusev reportedly handed his ex-girlfriend a bill for 500,000 RUB (5,500 GBP) which he claims she accumulated by him doing household chores, buying products, and having sleepless night among other factors.

Osipova said: “And now he is passing me a bill for sleepless nights and taking out the rubbish, – I don’t think this is a real man’s behaviour.”

However, according to Gusev his ex-lover is the one to be blamed for the bill as she was the first to ask for money from him after they separated.

The man said: “She started calling me later saying I owe her this and that sum as I did not work at the time and lived for her money. I explained that I did some house work and was tired more than her so I was forced to get back at her with this bill.”

Gusev said that the prices he mentioned in the bill were much lower than they should be as besides the physical activities he also damaged his mental health because of their arguing.

Local media reported that Osipova has since made a criminal complaint against her ex for beating her and her teenage son.

The investigation is ongoing.
