Boris Becker’s estranged wife has blasted the big-headed tennis star for his Mother’s Day attack on her.

The three times Wimbledon champ took a sly dig at estranged Sharlely ‘Lilly’ Becker, 46, when he opened up about the couple’s split and their 13-year-son Amadeus.

Boris praised his first wife Barbara – mother of his son Noah – telling the Telegraph: “It takes intelligent parents to find a way. Barbara is very intelligent.”

But then he said of Sharlely, also known as Lilly: “I hope with Sharlely we are able to reach the same point, but we are not there yet. We have good moments and bad.

“Well, she has her opinions, which are not always correct or legally right. I’ll leave it like that.”

Furious Lilly hit back at Becker in German media, telling Bild newspaper: “Boris seems to think he is more intelligent than everyone around him.

“So I look forward to him soon fulfilling his obligations to his son.”

The newspaper revealed that Boris Becker has not made any maintenance payments or paid school fees for 10 months.

And even after five years of separation, the divorce, reports Bild, is not progressing because the couple are not even talking to each other any longer.

One anonymous source close to the disgraced tennis star told the paper that his first wife Barbara and his ex-lover Angela Ermakova, 55, are legally gagged.

They said: “Boris gives his wives confidentiality agreements that they have to sign. That’s how he protects himself.”

Boris Becker – once one of the greatest tennis stars of all time – was jailed in April last year for hiding GBP 2.5 million in assets during bankruptcy proceedings.

He was released three months ago.
