This beautiful young woman has been found dead with a bullet wound to her chest on New Year’s Day.

The incident took place in the neighbourhood of Bahcelievler in the city of Zonguldak in the north-western Turkish province of the same name on Saturday, 1st January.

According to local reports, the family of Aysel Ileri, aged 20, became worried after not hearing from her and contacted the police.

Officers arrived at the house and found the young woman covered in blood with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest and a gun nearby.

The house belonged to the victim’s parents. However, it is unclear where her relatives were at the time of the alleged shooting.

An ambulance arrived on the scene and the seriously injured woman was given first aid in her room. She was later taken to Zonguldak Ataturk State Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Despite the doctors’ best efforts, the young woman could not be saved, and she passed away in the hospital on the same day.

It is currently unclear if she took her own life or whether the police suspect foul play.

The public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into her death.
