Beautiful Presenter Strangled To Death Days After Welcoming Violent Lover Home

This beautiful radio presenter and mother of a seven-year-old son has been strangled to death with an electric cord shortly after allowing her boyfriend to move back in with her following a violent row.

Evelyne Ogawa, 38, separated from her boyfriend Vinicius Camargo, 31, for one week and was strangled to death with an electric cable after allowing him back into their shared home in Samambaia, an administrative region in Brazil’s Federal District.

Together with his lawyer, he turned himself over to police 12 hours later and reportedly confessed to the murder that took place on 26th March.

The couple were together for four years, and she started seeing him when she already had a son, now aged 7, from a previous relationship.

Friends said that she became withdrawn during the relationship, and had recently become even more depressed after suffering a miscarriage four months previously.

She was a big country music fan and worked as a host of two radio programmes at Brazilian Radio Federal, where she presented ‘Frequencia Federal’ and ‘Programa Evelyne Ogawa’ which was named after her.

The couple separated a week ago after a bitter row, but he then turned up at the door and begged her to take him back.

A few days later, he allegedly strangled her to death using an electrical cord, and police have confirmed the cause of death was strangulation.

After she was killed, it was revealed that her ex had already been convicted for assaulting another former girlfriend, student Eslandia Rodrigues, 26, in 2017.

The victim’s friend Nyedja Gennari was one of those posting tributes on Instagram saying: “My love, my friend, Master Jesus has already welcomed you… His legacy to those who love you will be eternal.”
